Realively good value for money in one of the world's most expensive cities.

Location Location Location !

I understand the problem of transforming an old building into a hotel. Their "courtyard" rooms mean that you look straight into the windows of someone on the other side of the courtyard.....the courtyard is enclosed.

Nice hotel, recommended for tourists.

Great location for sights, lovely ex/interior, very beautiful hotel. Very nice in general.

Mostly good. Only 2 comments: Asked for some birthday things for my wife upon arrival, they forgot. Second is that if you want to be green and save water and so on, the toilets should not flush every time you enter the toilet. In general it’s quite annoying the toilet “reacts” every time you enter the room.

Fabulous, top Hotel, top staff

Top staff, made our stay very pleasant, wonderful building, tastefully converted to a hotel, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, staff were impeccable

simply phenomenal

I stayed here for a couple of nights in 2018 on the way home from Australia. This year I came for a week, and brought my elderly parents and a friend for a week. Everyone from check-in, concierge, bar/restaurant and housekeeping, is so so welcoming and friendly - but genuinely friendly and chatty. I have never known such obliging staff. The building is just stunning, and such a rich history that’s the hotel have embraced. Seriously comfortable beds, the rooms are as beautiful as the public areas, and superb bathrooms.  The food quality is very high, amazing choice for breakfast. We had drinks in the restaurant one evening, the waiters were so lovely, had some great banter with them, especially “Jack” (his real name is Dacre (we nicknamed him Jack as he said I was like Sharron Osborne as I have red hair)  Really don’t want to leave here, and will defiantly be back! Thank you all for such a wonderful holiday and meteorites made

A fabulous place to stay, great history of the building, the infinity pool, afternoon tea etc

On arrival we received a wonderful Welcome, booking in at reception was swift and easy. The room was luxurious with high ceiling, windows to match, electronic curtains excellent bed and bedding. Spacious bathroom with a toilet that does everything!! Tea and coffee facilities. Serviced each day. Breakfast was amazing with everything one can imagine eating and all manner of drinks. The main entrance, seating area, reception etc again with an extremely high ceiling, is where Afternoon Tea is served, a dessert shop and stunning flowers everywhere. There is a waterfall next to the lifts following around the banister is a sweeping staircase which takes guests down to a plethora of Koi Karp in a huge pond. The lower ground floor took us underground to various areas without crossing the main road. The Hotel is central to most areas and had wonderful views.

Bar closed, not serving East garden. Not the same standard as my last visit before Covid. Understand might still take some time to get back to that level

The room was very comfortable and breakfast was very pleasant. The pool area was very nice but again limited food and beverage service.

The foyer and main lounge area did not provide a bar or coffee area facility
